Welcome to the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program
What is ADR?
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provides parties with the opportunity to resolve disputes through mediation rather than litigation. Our goal is to promote fairness, efficiency, and respect while helping you resolve your matter. Read more about the benefits of mediation on our website.
Office Hours
Monday - Friday (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
Mediation Scheduling Hours
Monday - Friday (9:00 AM - 1:30 PM)
Your Responsibility:
- Complete all required steps prompty to avoid scheduling delays.
- Check your email regularly for scheduling confirmation and updates.
- Contact the judge's chambers to discuss any unresolved issues.
Your Scheduling Guidelines:
- Scheduling: To avoid prohibited ex parte communication, all scheduling-related communication must be sent via email and include all parties/counsel.
- Fees: Each party must submit payment before mediation begins and provide proof of payment to the assigned mediator. Cancellation and rescheduling fees apply.
- Professional Conduct: Abusive language, harassment, or threats will not be tolerated. Non-compliance may result in referral back to the judge.
- Legal Advice or Counseling: ADR staff are not lawyers or counselors and cannot provide legal guidance or emotional support during the ADR process.
- Response Times: All emails are answered during our office hours, Monday - Friday, within 24 hours of receipt.
